David Reinus, CPA graduated from UCLA in 1978 with a BA in Economics and earned his MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management in 2003. He has been licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in California since 1980.
David spent the first eight years of his professional career with one of the largest local CPA firms in Los Angeles, where he gained extensive experience in providing accounting, tax, and consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses and individuals. Since then, David has owned his own CPA practice for over 30 years and continued his specialization in the needs of small businesses and their owners.
In addition to his extensive professional experience, David is an accomplished and highly rated educator. He has over 30 years of experience teaching accounting, tax, and ethics in accounting classes for UCLA Extension and CPA review courses for Becker Professional Review. David’s experience extends into the corporate world as a former Director of Business Operations for Becker Professional Review, a senior management position that included corporate sales, marketing, business, and finance.
Finally, David is a member of the California Society of CPA’s. His service to CSCPA includes a previous role as a peer reviewer (reviewing the quality of work produced by other CPA firms). He is currently the author, technical reviewer, and test writer for the Professional Ethics for CPA’s course which all candidates for CPA licensure in California must pass before their license is issued.
Megan Bell, CPA moved to California in 2004 after graduating from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in Anthropology. Before working with the firm, she received an AA in Business and Accounting through Ventura Community College. While working for the firm since 2013, she completed the necessary accounting courses through UCLA extension to sit for the CPA exam. Megan became licensed as a Certified Public Accountant in California in 2021. Her role with the firm includes bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, sales tax reporting, payroll processing, and tax preparation. She also manages the firm’s data entry partners.
